Guided Reading Level D & Word Work with Elkonin Boxes 📚

New Book and Word Work with Elkonin Boxes (sound boxes). The 2 in the middle were my Kindergarten students.....the girl only was with me in intervention 3 times including this video. It is clear they needed to be moved down to a C and the other 2 were fine with a D. At this point, I had to pull according to times and classrooms vs. levels. A couple of weeks later, we began LLI and I was able to put the middle two into a level lower where they are doing well. What I think this video shows is "real" time in classroom groups- you can't always fit every child into the "exact" leveled group. I had to "pull" the boy through the lesson...gave him much more support than you would want as he should be able to do most of the work on his own.
