Global Gmail Outage Disrupts Email Services for Over an Hour

On Thursday morning, Gmail suffered a massive outage worldwide with users unable to upload attachments or even send emails. In some cases mails were sent but an error popped up while sending an attachment. Google apps status page also updated to confirm that they received reports of issues related to Gmail and were resolving them.
