Elon Musk's Lawsuit Against Digital Hate Group Dismissed by US Court ⚖️

A US District Court judge threw out Elon Musk's lawsuit against the Center for Countering Digital Hate, a nonprofit research group. CCDH had released a report finding hate speech proliferated after Musk took over Twitter, which he renamed X. The judge excoriated X's lawsuit, saying it was clearly intended to punish CCDH for its speech criticizing the platform. The judge said it was "impossible" to read the lawsuit as concerned with anything other than censoring CCDH's speech. X will appeal the decision, claiming CCDH illegally obtained platform data to create "misleading research."
