After the introduction slides have concluded explaining the story and background of Elgard, the player begins a tutorial and is immediately launched into a top-down interface with controls that are completely touchscreen-based. It is here where it becomes apparent that a larger screen is helpful for this app. On smaller-screened devices text is smaller and the controls clutter much of the left and right sides of the screen.

This allows for easy access to all of the games options including quick use of one of your classes many skills during combat; however the actual area for enjoying the animated environment is somewhat limited
