Elegant Crockery Collection Paired with Sir Edwin Lutyens' Dining Table & Chairs 🏛️

The most significant "piece" in this collection - that has been lying in the stores of the building since 1933 - is a set of crockery displayed with the dining table and chairs designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens.<br /><br />This kitchen museum is one of its kind in the world, exhibits historic kitchen artifacts from the collection of the President's household. The objects chosen span across the pre-independence period during British days. <br /><br />The Collection on display guides viewers from the Viceregal kitchen to the Banquet table. There are fascinating implements like copper ladles, primitive slicers and utensils. Given pride of place under a tiered chandelier is the Star of India crockery, with crystal stemware and shining silver cutlery.
