Karnataka Farmers Protest: Sugarcane farmers are protesting in Karnataka's Belagavi demanding higher prices for their sugarcane. The agitation has entered it's 8th day in the state. Karnataka's CM Siddaramaiah has decided not to travel to Tumkur for the meeting at K.N Rajanna residence, his decision is linked to the on going farmers protest. Stones have been pelted at police vans by protesters, cops had to resort to lathicharge to control the situation. Watch the video for more information.
