In this session he talked about protocol vulnerabilities, SYN flood, SYN flood on victim, UDP related attack, Smurf attack, DoS/DDoS, Attack packet related parameters, Advances and Challenges in handling DoS/DDoS, ARP spoofing, MiM attack due to ARP cache poisoning, possible solutions to ARP spoofing and Vulnerabilities in LAN.

This Cyber Security workshop for teachers was conducted from July 10 to July 20, 2014, under T10KT, sponsored by NMEICT, MHRD, Government of India, New Delhi.

This workshop had been arranged for teachers at various Remote Centers. A large number of participating teachers were assembled at nearest Remote Centers of their colleges where IIT Bombay faculty delivered live lectures from IIT Bombay in distance mode through A-VIEW software.
