China’s "Spy" Ship to Snoop on Indian Navy?
China has sent the Da Yang Yi Hao vessel into the Indian Ocean region. China calls it a research vessel but it is used for spying. The vessel has advanced sonar sensors that can track submarine activity. It also has satellite uplinks which can help track low-orbit satellites. The Chinese ship seems to be heading to the Arabian Sea where the Indian Navy is deployed in big numbers as part of Operation Sindoor. This is not the first time that China has tried to snoop on the Indian military using its ships. Palki Sharma tells you more.
