Bruce Lehrmann Files to Delay Payment to Network Ten in Defamation Lawsuit ⚖️

Former liberal staffer Bruce Lehrmann will try and convince the federal court to delay the enforcement of a costs order in his failed defamation case, pending a possible appeal. Mr Lehrmann is seeking to appeal the decision in that case, in which justice Michael Lee found he had, on the balance of probabilities, raped Brittany Higgins at parliament house. An earlier criminal trial in the ACT collapsed without a verdict due to juror misconduct.
