Vijay Leads Tamil Nadu with 120 MLAs 🗳️

The TVK party has secured the support of 120 MLAs to form the government in Tamil Nadu, crossing the majority mark. The coalition includes 107 party MLAs, along with support from the Congress, VCK, CPI, and the Indian Union Muslim League. The new Chief Minister is scheduled to be sworn in at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai. Meanwhile, the DMK leadership has stated it will not create a constitutional crisis and will observe the new government for six months. The Left parties revealed they rejected a proposal to support an AIADMK-led government from the outside, choosing instead to back the new coalition. In West Bengal, the BJP has staked its claim to form the government after securing 207 out of 294 seats. The swearing-in ceremony is also scheduled for the same time at the Brigade grounds in Kolkata.
