Rajendra Prasad (1884–1963) was the first President of India, serving from 1950 to 1962. He became a prominent Congress leader during the independence movement and a supporter of Gandhiji. In 1947, he was elected President of the Constituent Assembly and played a key role in drafting India's Constitution. The BPSC has announced the application dates for the Mains exam for 14,261 candidates who qualified in the 71st Combined (Preliminary) Exam. Applications can be made online at bpsc.bihar.gov.in from December 3rd to December 24th, 2025. The Mains exam will be held in March/April 2026 and will consist of five papers: General Hindi, General Studies Papers 1 and 2, Essay, and Optional Subject. Each paper will be 3 hours long and carry a total of 1100 marks. This exam will fill 1,298 positions, including 34 new vacancies.

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will conduct the written examination for Special School Teacher recruitment on January 29, 2025, at various examination centers across the state. A total of 7,279 posts will be filled through this recruitment process, including 5,334 for classes 1-5 and 1,745 for classes 6-8. Selection will be based on a written examination. For classes 1-5, there will be 150 multiple-choice questions from Language and General Studies, while for classes 6-8, questions will be asked from Language, General Studies, and Subject-specific questions.
