Bach in Bengal: Arjun K. Verma - This Friday

I am excited to be performing ‘Bach in Bengal’ this Friday at @SFConservMusic with @PBOsf and @williamrosseltabla!

The Baroque tradition shares a similar, richly ornamented approach to melody as Indian classical, but also uses harmony in a compelling way without overshadowing the nuances of the melody, providing rich inspiration for this unique crossover project.

These pieces were arranged for modified string quartet with the help of @SitarRhiannon
