Aquaman: Dolph Lundgren's Nereus Gets a Fresh Twist in the New Movie 🌊

Dolph Lundgren's King Nereus will be a bit different in the upcoming Aquaman solo film than he is in the comics. In an interview with Las Vegas Review Journal, Lundgren revealed King Nereus will actually be Mera's (Amber Heard) father in the movie. In the comics, the two characters were set to be betrothed to one another, with Mera eventually falling in love with Aquaman instead.
