Dolph Lundgren found filming to be a novel experience. He found it to be very uncomfortable since he had to wear harnesses for the underwater sequences, and all of the gear he had to wear as King Nereus made him feel claustrophobic. He had to wear a wig, beard, helmet, and three levels of armor. Despite all of this, Dolph loved the experience, and he would’ve done it for free.
