Amazon EFS Tutorial for AWS Developers 🌐

Amazon Elastic File System (Amazon EFS) provides serverless, fully elastic file storage so that you can share file data without provisioning or managing storage capacity and performance.

With Amazon EFS, you can create a file system, mount the file system on an Amazon EC2 instance, and then read and write data to and from your file system. Amazon EFS supports the Network File System version 4 (NFSv4.1 and NFSv4.0) protocol, so the applications and tools work seamlessly with Amazon EFS. Multiple compute instances, including EC2, ECS, and AWS Lambda, can access an Amazon EFS file system at the same time.

Amazon EFS is built to scale on demand to petabytes without disrupting applications, growing and shrinking automatically as you add and remove files.

Basic difference between EFS and EBS is EFS is designed to use across different machines and availability zones, but EBS is designed as a fast and reliable block storage volume for single machine.
