Adorable Rescued Otters Show Off Pumpkin Basketball Skills 🏀🎃

This video shows rescued sea otters showing off their basketball skills - by dunking pumpkins into mini hoops. <br /><br />Footage filmed last week (Oct 24) shows Lincoln, Juno and Sushi slamming the pumpkins in a custom-made hoop mounted to the rock wall of their habitat. <br /><br />The trio regularly take part in positive-reinforcement training, which is part of the Oregon Zoo’s enrichment program. <br /><br />The basketball routine plays a critical role in the animals' well-being as it keep the otters active, strengthens their bond with staff and gives their joints a healthy workout.
