Adorable Opossums Celebrate Halloween with Pumpkin Fun 🎃

OPOSSUM HALLOWEEN ANTICS<br />WITH VID AND PIX<br />By Shuk Yee Tsang<br />These opossums celebrated Halloween in style, climbing on pumpkins, exploring their pumpkin sleeping huts, and enjoying other dress-up fun.<br />The footage was captured by Dolly Neely, a commercial beekeeper, chicken farmer, and animal rescuer from Pennsylvania, USA. <br />She dresses her possums for the season and takes photos and videos to create special memories.<br />Her opossums have distinct personalities; one likes her space, while siblings are rarely apart. <br />They sleep most of the day and are extremely clean, always grooming themselves.<br />Dolly travels with her possums everywhere, from construction sites to long car rides, helping people see these animals in a new light. <br />The Halloween videos have delighted viewers, showcasing the possums’ playful antics, costumes, and fun props like sunglasses and tiny huts.<br />Dolly said: “This year, my little opossum helpers will pass out candy and make people smile, and maybe even scare a few!<br />“I got inspired by all the costumes in pet stores. Since I don’t have a small dog, I thought they’d be perfect for the opossums, cute and fun!<br />“They sleep all day, which is very different from other pets, and they’re very clean, always grooming themselves.<br />“People are often amazed, shaking their heads at how strange and cool they are.<br />“I don’t recommend everyone try to raise them; well-intentioned people can accidentally harm them if they don’t know what they’re doing.”<br />END
