Memories, <br />Memories take some sharp turn, <br />Memories are no fun, <br />Memories turn ur eyes wet, <br />Memories, <br />Memories is all I wanna forget... <br /> <br />What life would be with all happiness and no tear, <br />What war would be with all bravery and no fear, <br />Is it good to have nothing far and everybody near...? <br /> <br />Some go away for good, <br />And that I have understood, <br />But memories, <br />Memories become that dark hood, <br />Shadow of feelings cloud thy mood... <br /> <br />Memories, <br />I dont know when they go, <br />Nor the timing of their show, <br />Long back for seeds I had sow, <br />How can one swim against the flow...? <br /> <br />Let them not drown you, <br />Let them not set you afloat, <br />Shoulders need to shred a few, <br />To be able to hold thy throat... <br /> <br />Memories, <br />Sure they give a hard time, <br />Surely they are not a friend, <br />They say it all becomes fine, <br />And if not, then its not the end... <br /> <br />Adam - 17.03.2014<br /><br />Abhijeet Kadam<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/darker-memories/
