About this video
A few free homeschool resources we use to educate our children.
When we started our homeschool journey in January 2022, we watched so many videos on what we need to do. At first it felt intimidating and overwhelming, however the process felt like a breeze because we knew this is what we needed to do for our children and enthusiasm took over.
It took time to find these resources (there’s so many more I’d like to share) and we are so grateful there are options for people who are on a low income or one income household. Honestly, it was a shock to us that the schools buy curriculum and not create their own, but that’s another story.
Not everyone teaches the same and all children do not learn the same; therefore finding free curriculum has helped us be more flexible with our kids and we don’t feel constrained to a curriculum that may not be working because we paid for it.
With that said, here’s some of the resources we use.
⤵️
Discovery K12: free curriculum online for grades Pre-K through 12 grade, there’s also a parent account that allows you to have more perks for $99 per family per year
The library: borrow books that discusses history, science, math, and books for fun
Khan Academy: free curriculum that can help with reading, math, science and more
K5 Learning: Free print outs
ABCYA: free educational games
Comment below if you want more free resources, but also, if you know of any. 📖 🤎
