About this video

This video takes you through the process of building a circuit from a schematic, including circuit board preparation, soldering components using Manhattan style construction and then testing it. It uses a buffered Colpitts Crystal oscillator as the example. My previous video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kH110yjYZ2g) showed several methods for building prototype or breadboard circuits. The method used in this video is the "island cutter" method of manhattan style construction.
