本片講述了千術高手錢文迪（劉德華）因為出千被賭場老闆劉耀祖（尹志強）脅迫，被迫到監獄中去騙取犯人魯賓孫（關海山）的信任，找到三億元的債券的藏匿之處。在監獄中，文迪了解到魯賓孫才是三億元債券的真正主人，被女婿劉耀祖陷害才會入獄。文迪化解與獄警鍾楚雄（梁家輝）的恩怨，跟魯賓孫一起對付劉耀祖。終於將劉耀祖送入監獄，並取回三億元債券的故事。
