It is said that 600 years ago, King Vibhuti Narayan had brought a poor girl Manjulika to his palace. Seeing her dance and beauty, the king fell in love with her. But Manjulika liked a servant named Shashidhar, both of them loved each other! One day the king made a painting of Manjulika and asked her to marry him! But when Manjulika came to know about the king's intentions, she planned to run away with Shashidhar. The very next day the king killed Shashidhar in front of the full court. Manjulika could not bear this shock, and she also committed suicide by hanging herself. Before dying, Manjulika had written on a letter that she would definitely take revenge from the king. And a few days later, the king also died suddenly and Manjulika's revenge was complete!
