Here's a quick drum lesson on the Afro-Cuban Clave Rhythm ...the terminology, and how it can be notated. Terminology is not that important. Different teachers and different places might call it something different ...so if you learned it as "reverse rumba" ...Then that is totally fine... As long as you understand the concepts behind each variation. PS... I also sped this up a bit so the video fit into a 60 second Short... Sorry if it's a little funny sounding.
