Zombie Outbreak: Colorado | POST-APOCALYPSE CREEPYPASTA SERIES

Welcome to Zombie Outbreak: Colorado. Sixty miles west of Denver, along the stretch of I-70 that threaded between Silverthorne and Idaho Springs, men had carved a wound straight through that stone. They called it the Eisenhower-Johnson Memorial Tunnel. A name heavy with honor. A name meant to make it sound permanent.

When the infection began, it did not look like the end of the world. It looked like congestion. Brake lights stacking up along I-70. A jack-knifed semi. A fender bender at eleven thousand feet. Traffic slowing to a crawl inside a tunnel that had always felt too narrow, too enclosed.

Today’s fabulous offering is 'Zombie Outbreak: Colorado, an original story by Augustus Cordoba, kindly shared with me via email for the express purpose of having me narrate it exclusively here for you all.
