Hey guys! Welcome back to Jon's RC. In this video, we review the awesome E-flite F-16 80mm EDF jet. This is the maiden video. This plane is definitely very intimidating on the ground. But, once it's in the air, she is truly is a gentle giant be it a FAST gentle giant! The plane flies like its on rails once you get the plane all trimmed out. The build was easy and straightforward. There are only 8 machine screws in the package that holds the wings, rudder and elevators. Honestly, the most difficult part of the entire build was just sliding and clicking in all the military ornaments!
The recommended flight battery for this plane according to the website is a 6S 22.2V 4000โ7000mAh 30+C LiPo. For our flight, we decided to use something in between so we used a 6S 22.2V 5000 mAh 30c LiPo. With that battery, it came in a just tad on the nose side but it was easily corrected via digital trim during flight. For the transmitter, we used our very reliable Spektrum NX-8.
Enjoy the video and please subscribe to our channel! Thank you!
