RSA encryption

RSA encryption is a widely used asymmetric cryptographic algorithm that ensures secure data transmission. It relies on a key pair: a public key for encryption and a private key for decryption. The security of RSA is based on the difficulty of factoring large prime numbers. The algorithm generates keys by selecting two large prime numbers, computing their product (the modulus), and deriving encryption and decryption exponents. RSA is commonly used in securing online communications, digital signatures, and authentication systems. Despite its strength, RSA encryption requires significant computational power, making key size and efficiency crucial for maintaining security in real-world applications.
