You in Australia by Quiaohong

When Quiahong came to Australia from Xiamen in south of China she never thought she would make friends from countries such as Syria, Italy and Cambodia. She remembers the kindness of hearing her own language being spoken by her Maths teacher. She dreams of flying into the sky with wings.

In 2018 Story Factory collaborated with staff and students at Fairfield High School to produce a new digital version of their Our Faces, Our Stories publication.

Migrant and refugee students shared stories from their lives and worked with volunteer tutors and illustrators and our project collaborator the Rawr Collective to produce short animated digital stories.
