Exclusive - Steffon Armitage ‘honoured’ by British and Irish Lions mention

Steffon Armitage admits he’s ‘honoured’ to be mentioned as a potential tourist with the British and Irish Lions this summer.

The Toulon flanker, capped 5 times by his country, has become an outside bet for Warren Gatland’s squad to take on Australia, following some impressive performances for the Top 14 side.

But Armitage, who moved from London Irish to the French club in 2011, claims the only way he can force his way onto the plane Down Under is to win a trophy with Bernard Laporte’s side.
