The much-talked about Karan Johar birthday bash took place yesterday i.e. May 25, 2012 and everyone know that it was supposed to be Bollywood’s party of the year with the kind of speculations made about it and of course with Karan turning 40 this year, it truly seemed like it was!

From Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Bipasha Basu to Aamir Khan, Vidya Balan and Jaya Bachchan, Bollywood’s who’s who, dressed predominantly in black and white, attended filmmaker Karan Johar’s grand 40th birthday bash, at the Taj Lands End hotel Mumbai on Friday night.

As per designer Manish Malhotra who took charge of preparing the venue, styling the waiters` uniform as well as styling a list of celebrities who tip-toed to the party with élan, the theme for the night itself was black and white.

Johar looked dapper in a jet black Tom Ford suit, white shirt teamed with a shimmery bow and a white rose in his left pocket. He added more glamour with shimmery black shoes. Event noted the presence of Shah Rukh Khan with wife Gauri, Aamir-Kiran, Hrithik Roshan-Suzann Khan, Sanjay-Maanyata Dutt, Riteish Deshmukh-Genelia D’Souza, Anil-Tina Ambani, Goldie Behl-Sonali Bendre, Vidhu Vinod Chopra-Anupama Chopra and actors Boman Irani, and Ronit Roy came with their respective wives.

Other attendants were Vidya Balan-Siddharth Roy Kapoor, Bipasha, Sonakshi Sinha, Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, and a long list to be mentioned.
