Bloomberg: Microsoft Begins Deep Job Cuts Across Xbox Division

Job cuts at King (10% of staff or about 200 jobs) and ZeniMax in Europe. US Units expected to be told later today on number of job cuts. Windows Central: Phil Spencer's message to staff. Phil Spencer in a memo sent to staff regarding upcoming layoffs.

The layoffs for the Xbox division are reported to be between 1,000-2,000 developers with the possibility of entire studios being shuttered. So far 200 developers from King and Zenimax Media have been let go. Microsoft is reportedly set to cut a total of 9,000 jobs across the entire company.
