लोकसभा में विपक्ष के नेता और कांग्रेस सांसद राहुल गांधी बिहार में SIR प्रक्रिया और 'वोट चोरी' के विरोध में 17 अगस्त से बिहार के सासाराम से 'वोटर अधिकार यात्रा' की शुरुआत की . यात्रा में आरजेडी के वरिष्ठ नेता तेजस्वी यादव समेत INDIA ब्लॉक के तमाम नेता शामिल होंगे...वहीं इस मौके पर कांग्रेस नेता कन्हैया कुमार ने कहा, "...जब विपक्षी नेता राहुल गांधी कह रहे हैं कि विसंगतियां हैं और आपको जांच करनी चाहिए...तब उन्होंने कहा कि विसंगतियों को रोकने के लिए SIR किया गया है...अब, आज चुनाव आयोग अचानक प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस कर रहा है। चुनाव आयोग को चुनाव कराना बंद कर देना चाहिए और खुद चुनाव लड़ना शुरू कर देना चाहिए..
