Investments in quantum technology sought
Dr. Enrico Paringit, executive director of the Department of Science and Technology’s Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development, told The Manila Times that it is important for lawmakers to invest in policies that institutionalize quantum technology because it is “a winnable game.”
Paringit said that cultivating a generation of quantum-literate professionals could open new industries in the Philippines, such as harnessing hardware development, software design, and systems integration for quantum computing.
