New Delhi: Making Mohammed Siraj trust his outswinger a little more while getting Prasidh Krishna to bring his length a little ahead are the changes which Gujarat Titans’ head coach Ashish Nehra has brought about in the two pacers, which in turn has made them more effective bowlers, revealed veteran pacer Ishant Sharma. For Prasidh Krishna he said, Nehra adjusted his bowling length to suit his height and natural bounce. On red soil pitches, Krishna was instructed to target a 4.5-meter length, while on black soil, the length was extended to 5-6 meters. On his relationship with Ashish Nehra he described their bond as informal and enduring. Their discussions about batters occur casually over corridor chats, bus rides, or during tea and coffee in relaxed team meetings. This laid-back atmosphere extends to the entire team, fostering open communication without formalities.
