Narrow Escape: Couple Nearly Falls Off Cliff at Mountain Tai 🧗‍♂️

A couple climbing over the guardrail on top of the Mountain Tai nearly fell off the cliff during China’s May Day holiday. The thrilling moment captured by tourists on top of the mountain went viral on Chinese social media during the holiday.

The boy grabbed the legs of the girl when she was falling. Both were stopped by the rock crack.

The Mountain Tai in east China’s Shandong Province is 1,532.7 meters above the sea level. Known for its natural landscape and historical constructions, it attracts millions of tourists every year, especially during the national holidays. Many climb up the mountain to watch the sunrise.

On the first day of the holiday this year, over 45,000 tourists visited the mountain. The management have now tightened patrol on top, to prevent such incidents from happening again.
