OPM icon Kitchie Nadal uses music to raise awareness on social issues<br /><br />Beyond her timeless hits, OPM icon Kitchie Nadal continues to use her voice to raise awareness about pressing global issues, including the crisis in Gaza. Speaking at a press conference in Cebu on Feb. 12, 2025, Nadal shared that being married to a journalist and humanitarian worker has deepened her commitment to advocacy. She believes artists have a responsibility to use their platform to spark meaningful conversations. Kitchie is set to serenade fans at her Valentine’s concert on Feb. 14 in Lapu-Lapu City, where she will be joined by guest performers, including Bunny Liwanag and Cebuano rock bands. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Stimulation and Therapeutic Activity Center (STAC), supporting children with special needs.
