Drone video captures severe flooding caused by Super Typhoon Pepito in the Philippines
Vehicles and people were seen navigating knee-high waters in the province of Nueva Ecija on Monday, November 18, after Super Typhoon Pepito (Man-Yi) swept across the Philippines' main island of Luzon and sent more than a million people into taking shelter.
Authorities have yet to report on any casualties except for severe floodings, landslides and infrastructure damage along the path of the typhoon, which made an initial landfall on the province of Catanduanes on Saturday, November 16, followed by another landfall on the province of Aurora on Sunday.
Pepito was the sixth tropical cyclone to hit the Philippines in a month, which sees an annual average of 20 storms to hitting the country.
