Chiefs tame defending champs Red Lions

Arellano University stuns defending champion San Beda University with a hard-fought 72-70 win in the NCAA Season 100 men’s basketball tournament at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City on Sept. 28, 2024. Arellano captured its second win in the tournament and tallied a 2-5 win-loss slate, while San Beda fell to a 3-3 win-loss card.
