Cornell students interrupt career fair in protest against defense contractors invited by university

"Around 100 Cornell students, along with the Coalition for Mutual Liberation, shut down a career fair at the Statler Hotel on Cornell's campus on Wednesday, September 18," Matt told WooGlobe. "Student protesters were upset that the university invited defense contractors Boeing and L3Harris to the career fair, despite students passing a referendum last year to divest from weapons manufacturers."
