### Steps to Remove Page Numbers:

1. **Removing the Page Number**
- Double click the mouse on the page number.
- Place the cursor to the right of the page number.
- Click the backspace key.
- Click off the document to the side to confirm.

2. **Verifying Removal**
- You should see that all the page numbers are gone.

3. **Adding the Page Number Back**
- Go to the "Insert" menu.
- Select "Page number."
- Follow the prompts to reinsert the page numbers.

And there you have it! That's how you remove and re-add page numbers in Google Docs.
