Pinoy PWDs Represent at Paris Olympics
Daisy Jane Omega and Brylle Samgel Arombo lead the Filipino delegation of People With Disabilities (PWDs) at the Paris Olympics, among nine Filipino athletes competing in the Games.

Pinoy PWDs join Paris Olympics
Daisy Jane Omega and Brylle Samgel Arombo banner the flag for People With Disabilities (PWDs) as they are two of the nine Filipinos selected from 112 applicants to be volunteers at the Paris Olympics slated from July 26 to Aug. 11, 2024. As volunteers, Omega and Arombo will be committee assistants and sports facilitators in different sporting associations or institutions for their civic service missions. Omega and Arombo both wear prosthetic right knees. Omega, a golf and dragon boat para athlete, was born without one knee while Arombo, member of the Philippine Para Dragon Boat team, lost his in a vehicular accident in 2016.
