Much of England , Wales and Northern Ireland, mostly dry with bright or sunny intervals and variable cloud in places barring a few, isolated showers. Cloudy skies and a band of rain persists over Scotland and north-east England whilst further rain moves in across parts of southwest England into the Wales and the Midlands through the afternoon.
