The Academic Session Final Test (UASA) mastery level system will be done using a percentage and grade structure from this year, says Fadhlina Sidek.

The Education Minister said on Monday (March 18) when announcing the ministry’s curriculum intervention to address learning loss among schoolchildren that this decision was made after evaluating feedback from parents, teachers and other stakeholders about the current curriculum that has become an issue.

Fadhlina also said Year One pupils will undergo a literacy and numeracy detection programme to identify those who have not mastered the 3M skills of reading, writing and counting.
