Heavy Rains Persist in Kerala as Southwest Monsoon Gains Momentum 🌧️

Thiruvananthapuram received overnight rainfall on June 12 as the monsoon picked up strength in the state. Notably, the southwest monsoon hit Kerala on June 8. This year, the onset of monsoon is delayed against its normal date of arrival. In view of the rainfall, a yellow alert has been issued in several districts of the state. Rainfall affected the movement of daily commuters.
