Extremely Rare and Beautiful Lighter - Restoration

I came to this conclusion after examining the surface of the lighter, it is damaged by time and use. There are minor notches, chips and shells on the surface of the metal. The body of this beautiful gasoline lighter is decorated with a material unknown to me, it looks like a composite material, strong wood, or bakelite. I don't know exactly what it is. The person who gave me this rare lighter said that it could have been made by the prisoners in the prison and that the symbol of the duck on it means something in the language of the prisoners.
