There are six categories of blocks available in the ScratchJr
1. Triggering blocks - yellow color blocks
- Start on Green Flag
- Start on Tap
- Start on Bump
- Start on Message
- Send Message

2. Motion Blocks- Blue Color blocks
- Move Right
- Move Left
- Move Up
- Move Down


Purple color blocks
- Say
- Grow
- Shrink
- Rest Size
- Hide
- Show

4. Sound blocks- green color blocks
- Pop
- Play Recorded Sound

5. Control Blocks - orange color blocks
- Wait
- Stop
- Set Speed
- Repeat)

6. End Blocks - red color blocks
- End
- Repeat Forever
- Go to Page
