Understanding the JNU Clash: ABVP vs. Left Wing

A clash erupted between two groups of students at Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi on Sunday evening. The fight between students affiliated with Left organizations and members of the RSS’ student wing ABVP allegedly broke out over non-vegetarian food being served in the hostel mess on the Hindu festival of Ram Navami. Now, the police have registered an FIR against unidentified ABVP members on the complaint of some students while the JNU administration has initiated a probe into the incident. Watch this report.
