Party Time in Atlanta for All Star Game?

The stars are coming out and hosting packed events in Atlanta venues even as Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms says "stay away" to the wider basketball world, focusing the attention on the TV event ahead of the Mar. 7 All Star Game. The league is going forward with converging its stars on the city in a few weeks for a one-night midseason event, naming starts last week, but some fear as COVID-19 continues to plague the league with postponements that gathering the top stars could risk a crisis.

Chris Kirschner of The Athletic joins Dome Theory with Bobby Manning as they discuss the potential complications of an All-Star Game during a pandemic, and the issues that arise with it being in Atlanta. While the league is doing its best to recoup finances, the possibilities and dangers that come from an event like this more likely than not outweigh the benefits.
