Born in Moscow, Russia in 1972, Ekaterina Fields is a Russian-born British model, actress, philanthropist, investor, and mother of 2 wonderful children based in London. Ekaterina was full of talent from a young age, being accepted into Moscow’s School No 72 a year before her fellow classmates at the age of 6, and then being selected to be part of the MosFilm database of child actors at the age of 10. This led Ekaterina to her first starring role at the age of 12 in the hit children’s film “Higher than Rainbow”, a movie that over the years has been shown to over 50 million viewers in the Russian-speaking world and is still shown to Russian audiences to this day. Over the years, Ekaterina received other acting roles such as her second leading role in the film “Publication” at the age of 16.
While building her acting chops and attending school, Ekaterina also attended modeling school at Burda Moden which allowed her to enter several beauty pageants and eventually become a finalist in the Miss Russia competition as well as earning second place in the Elite Model Look competition hosted by Elite modeling agency. When Ekaterina turned 17, she was invited to represent Russia in the Miss World University beauty pageant where she was the only student out of the 12 Russian finalists. A year later, at the age of 18, Ekaterina became the first Russian Miss World, which helped kickstart her new career in Russian television as well as secure a position at the Marilyn Gauthier modeling agency in Paris.
Over the next few years, Ekaterina began working at the Oman Oil Company as a Russian-English interpreter as well as the personal assistant to the CEO, John Deuss. In this position, Ekaterina helped out with negotiations between various companies and countries as well as assisting with the Caspian Pipeline Project. In the late 90s, Ekaterina left Paris and moved to her current location in London, where received a BA in Marketing and Finance from City University. At the same time, she continued modeling at the NEVS modeling agency.
Over the years Ekaterina continued to be cast in several television productions such as an episode of the hit BBC sitcom “Perfect World” and got to work alongside comedians Peter Kay and Nina Wadia. Outside of her work Ekaterina is passionate about the environment and protecting our planet. She’s a big fan of using sustainable products and tries to keep her household as environmentally friendly as possible. Ekaterina also supports various charities and believes that kindness is the key to a better world.
