FASTag अनिवार्य: तीन साल पहले खरीदे गए वाहनों के लिए अब जरूरी

देश में टोल टैक्स के डिजिटल भुगतान को बढ़ावा देने के लिए FASTag को अनिवार्य किया जा रहा है। यानी अब बिना फास्टैग के गाड़ी सड़क पर नहीं दौड़ाई जा सकेगी। केंद्र सरकार ने इसे लेकर एक प्रस्ताव पेश किया है, जिसमें कहा गया है कि दिसंबर, 2017 से पहले खरीदे गए सभी वाहनो के लिए fastag को जरूरी बनाने का प्रस्ताव पेश किया है.. सड़क परिवहन की ओर से इस संबंध में एक अधिसूचना भी जारी की गई है, जिसके मुताबिक नियमों में संशोधन किए जाने के बाद 1 जनवरी, साल 2021 से सभी पुराने वाहनों के लिए फास्टैग लेना जरूरी होगा।
