How to Backup and Restore LINE Chat History on Android-2019?

Method 1: Using Google Drive

Step 1: Open Line App and Log in.

Step 2: Tap on 'More' Tab, and then Tap on 'Gear' icon at the top, and then tap on 'Chats'.

Step 3: Tap on 'Backup and restore chat history.'

Step 4: Tap on 'Google Account', If you have not added Google Account, Tap on 'Add Account' to add a one, and the select it.

Step 5: Tap on 'Backup to google Drive' to backup.

Step 6: Whenever you want to restore, just come to this screen and at the bottom, Tap on 'Restore'.


Method 2: Manually

Step 1: Go to the chat that you want to backup, and tap on little Downward arrow at the top.

Step 2: Tap on 'Chat Settings.'

Step 3: Tap on 'Back Up Chat History.'

Step 4: Tap on 'Back Up all data', back up file will be stored in your internal storage, you can also email to yourself.

Step 5: Whenever you want to restore, come to the 'Chat Settings', and then Tap on 'Import chat history', and it will be restored.


Tip: Move the back up file to internal storage, when it's not working when you do it from SDcard/backup
